Volunteers Needed

The Hamilton Lake Association Board is looking for ten volunteers to take responsibility for removing 6/8 buoys in the fall, keeping them on their properties, and returning them to their current locations in the lake in the spring. With twenty volunteers, we can keep our buoys floating at the appropriate times during the year and save the cost of hiring a firm to put them in and take them out. CERT

Steuben County Emergency Management is interested in attracting citizens interested in joining CERT, the Community Emergency Response Team. This group is dedicated to community service and has a very brief training program. Those interested should contact the Indiana Department of Homeland Security at www.in.gov/dhs.
